Kidspace is a Maryland State Licensed Facility for Flexible Child Care. The center must follow all State regulations including documentation and staff/child ratio for Child Care Centers.

No child can be left at the center that has not submitted the following:

Required forms

• Registration Information
• MD Emergency Information
• MD Health Inventory

 

Kidspace’s mission is to nurture a child’s self-esteem, creativity and confidence in their own imagination. Our intention is to always be a positive impact on a child’s life. Kidspace will engage all children under the age of 11 years in hands-on learning experiences that encourage experimentation, creativity and the development of problem-solving skills within an environment of unlimited possibilities.

 

In support of this mission, Kidspace will:

• Create centers, exhibits and programs that reflect the special abilities and interests of children, that give children the tools to construct their own knowledge and that foster their natural curiosity to learn.
• Provide a safe, wholesome and stimulating environment.
• Extend learning beyond the museum experience—creating centers, exhibits and programs that serve as an enticement to further investigation and learning.
• Be an educational resource to the community through field trips and programs that support hands-on education.
• Be an inclusive organization, reaching out to those in the community who have the fewest opportunities.
